Thank God Football is back! The 2018 season kicks off with my team the Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons which means it’s time to show your support and get those jerseys on. Since I’m an Eagles fan I have to put up a few of my favorite players jerseys but if your favorite player isn’t posted yet on my site you can click on any Eagles jersey or your favorite autographed players jersey and do a search.
We all heard the news that Wentz wouldn’t be starting in our first regular season Eagles game of 2018 against the Atlanta Falcons but don’t fret my friends, I have confidence in Nick Foles and the rest of the team to do what they must to get a win. I really believe that this was a smart decision to not play Wentz until he is fully recovered, you don’t want to ruin the mans career when it’s just getting started. Let’s hope for a full recovery before he starts playing again. In the meantime grab yourself his Eagles jerseys and show Wentz some love.
here’s a few facts about Carson Wentz in case you didn’t know. Wentz played college football for North Dakota State from 2011 till 2015, he was drafted by the Eagles in the first round with the second overall pick in 2016, that hadn’t happened since 1999 when Donavan McNabb was drafted by the Eagles in the first round.
The 2017 season was awesome, the eagles were underdogs in every playoff game they played and I must admit that I was a bit nervous when Carson Wentz was injured while diving into the end zone for a touchdown that didn’t count because of a penalty on us. I could tell by the way he was limping that it wasn’t good.
But Nick Foles stepped up and did a amazing job as a quarterback and a leader, the hole team rallied together and made history winning their first Super Bowl. What a great night for Philidelphia and for Eagles fans all over.
Well it’s a new season and I continue to be optimistic about our chances of having a repeat of last season, I’ve watched all four pre-season games and the team seams a bit rusty, but I’m confident that things will turn around when the regular season begins. I’ve listed a few of my favorite Eagles jerseys along with some autographed Eagles jerseys as well and I will be listing a lot more when time permits.
Nick played college football at Arizona and was drafted by the Eagles in 2012, he also briefly played for the St. Louis Rams and the Kansas City Chiefs until he returned to the Eagles in 2017, which was a great move for the franchise. Foles was given the position of starting quarterback in week 14 of the 2017 season against the Los Angeles Rams when Carson Wentz had to leave the game because of the injury he sustained.
The rest is history, literally! Foles lead the team to their first ever Super Bowl championship. Foles will be our starting quarterback in game one which is on 9/6/2018 and I’m not worried at all. he’s a smart quarterback with experience being under pressure, so I’m excited and look forward to our season opener. I know that the Eagles as a whole will do good.
Ertz played college football for Stanford University from 2009 to 2012, he opted out his senior season to enter the 2013 draft, the Eagles selected Ertz in the second round (35 overall ) of the 2013 NFL Draft. Ertz was quite the unknown between the years of 2013-2015 when he was backup for tight end Brent Celek.
In 2016 Ertz was given the position of starting tight end. he finished the season with 78 receptions for 816 receiving yards and four touchdowns. In 2017 Ertz had a awesome season with 74 receptions for 824 receiving yards and a career high eight touchdowns. Can’t wait to see how the 2018 season will be for Zach who has earned the respect of Philly fans for his exceptional skills and toughness.
Now I’m not taking anything away from Brent Celek who gave the Eagles 11 years of dedication and just pure grit and will always be one of my favorites. I’m happy that he was able to retire with a Super Bowl ring which he worked so hard to obtain. This particular Eagles jersey is autographed by Ertz.
In 2015 Ajayi was drafted in the fifth round of the NFL Draft, with the 149th overall pick by the Miami Dolphins. He would go on to play for the Dolphins until 2017.
In 2017 Ajayi was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for a 2018 fourth round draft pick. He’s been a great asset for the Eagles as running back. If Ajayi can stay healthy I believe he will have a amazing season. He has outstanding speed and power and he’s still young so hopefully with his assistance we can go for that second Eagles Super Bowl win! This is also a autographed Eagles jersey signed by Ajayi.
Darren Sproles is a running back, return specialist, who played college football at Kansas State University from 2001 to 2004. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft with the 130th overall pick. He would play for the Chargers from 2005 to 2010.
In 2011, Sproles was signed to the New Orleans Saints and would play for them for until 2013. In 2014 The Eagles signed Sproles in exchange for a 2014 5th-round draft pick. He has broken many NFL records.
- Most combined total return yards in a two-game playoff span (2008)-602
- Most All-purpose yards in a single season (2011)-2,696
Chargers Franchise records
- Most career kickoff return yards (6,469)
Saints franchise records
- Most All-purpose yards (season) 2,696 (2011)
Eagles franchise records
- Most career punt return touchdowns-4 ( Tied with Desean Jackson)
It saddens me to say that this will be Darren’s last season in the NFL, “All good things come to an end” Sproles embodies the true meaning of dedication. At only 5-6″ he proves to us that true grit isn’t measured in size, but in heart. Drew Brees once said (after Sproles was traded to the Eagles). “You only see a Darren Sproles type of player come around once in your career” Quite a statement coming from Drew! This Eagles Jersey is framed and autographed by Sproles.
